Dr. Amy Becken | Doctor of Audiology & Owner
Originally from Poulsbo, Dr. Becken moved back to the Kitsap area and opened Kitsap Audiology in 1993. She has cherished her ongoing relationship with her patients over the years that she has been in private practice.
Dr. Becken received her Bachelor of Arts and Master’s degree from Western Washington University. She graduated with her Doctorate in Audiology from the Arizona School of Health Sciences.
When not at the office, Dr. Becken enjoys her horses, three dogs, and RVing. She currently resides in Gig Harbor. She has two grown sons. Alex attends Montana State University in Bozeman, majoring in Agriculture, and Zachary proudly serves in the US Army at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
Rachael Shannon M.A., CCC-A
Rachael graduated from Western Washington University in 1992 with a Masters of Arts degree in Audiology. She has been with Kitsap Audiology since June 2012. Rachael has had the pleasure of working with Dr. Becken from 1991-1993, before Amy opened Kitsap Audiology. She has also worked at Group Health Cooperative, and managed the hearing aid clinic at Harborview Medical Center.
Rachael is currently working toward her Doctorate of Audiology degree. She lives in Sammamish with her husband of 22 years and her two daughters, a sophomore in high school and a sophomore attending college in San Francisco. Rachael and her husband like to attend Seahawk, Mariner, and Sounder games whenever possible.
Eva Gagnon | Office Manager & Accounting/Billing Specialist
Eva has worked for Kitsap Audiology since 2005. She is a graduate of Western Washington University where she received her Bachelor’s Degree. She is well-versed in insurance, all aspects of medical billing, office accounting, and human resources.
When she isn’t at the office, Eva is busy with her two daughters who are involved in soccer, dance, basketball, swim, and Junior rodeo. She also spends a lot of her time riding her horses with the Kitsap County Stampede Starlets, and is the leader of this great team of ladies and their equine companions.
Tina Koths | Audiology Assistant & State and Federal claims specialist
Tina has worked for Kitsap Audiology since 2010. She is a graduate of Ballinger X Ray Technician School. Currently she works as an audiology assistant, but will be attending Bates Technical College to become a hearing instrument specialist in the near future. Proficient in all aspects of state and federal claims, she is a fantastic resource for our patients that have noise induced hearing loss due to their jobs.
In her down time she enjoys spending time with her family, being involved in activities such as BRN 4 -D barrel racing, dance, soccer, and swim. She also enjoys riding her horses, camping, traveling, and vacationing
